This
unusual film directed by Art O'Brian, celebrates Remembrance Day.
The film explores the memorial garden at Islandbridge in Dublin, dedicated
to Irish soldiers who lost their lives in both World Wars.
This beautiful and evocative film, with music from Anuna, looks at the
work of writers who fought in or were influenced by the wars.
They include Irish poet Francis Ledwidge, who died in WWI, Rupert Brooke,
Siegfried Sassoon, Rudyard Kipling and Yeats, whose 'An Irish Airman Forsees
His Death', as rendered by Shane MacGowan, closes the film.
