Loopline Post Production offers a total service to production companies working in the areas of Features, Shorts, Documentaries and Pop Videos. Recent productions include 'Traveller' for Littlebird Films and 'Next' for Shine On Productions.

When Loopline first opened its doors, MD Sé Merry Doyle had one of the most formidable reputations as a film editor in Ireland and Britain. The success of Features like 'Reefer And The Model' for Joe Comerford, and the documentaries 'Hobo' and 'Hip To The Tip' for John T. Davis ensured that Loopline's facilities would attract filmmakers who were looking for originality and attention to detail.

The first major project edited at Loopline for Frontier Films was the award-winning documentary on The Velvet Underground 'Simple'. Clients who availed of the state-of-the-art facilities include Treasure Films for Paddy Breathnach's award winning 'Ailsa'.

A host of short dramas were also edited by Loopline's skilled pool of editors. Directors like PJ Dillon, Frankie McCafferty, Barra De Bhaldraithe, Frank Stapelton, Paul Duane, Rynagh O'Grady and John T. Davis, have come to Loopline as their first choice of port for their films.

Loopline were one of the first post production companies to embrace the new digital editing systems when it started using 'Lightworks' in 1994 and has continued in that vein with the recently installed 'Final Cut Pro'. The facility is now headed by Marc O'Gleasáin who is gathering a growing reputation as editor on films like 'Manana' for Zanzibar Productions and 'Next' for Shine On Productions.


Loopline has invested in state-of-the-art equipment to give our own productions a polished finish. Industry professionals also hire this equipment on a regular basis.

Camera Equipment: Sony Dockable DVCAM DSR 30 with a standard Canon Zoom Lens, Vinten Tripod and 9 inch Sony Field Monitor.

Sound Equipment: SQN 4 Mixer, Sennheiser Rifle Mike, VDB Boompole and DAT Recorder PCM 7030.

Editing Equipment: Lightworks Turbo Non Linear, Final Cut Pro, Sony Beta Player / Recorder, Sony DV Cam Player / Recorder, Super 16mm Steenbeck and Moviola 35mm.

Transfer Facilities: Duplication facilities are available for all formats.
